Today is the first day of the Global Youth Summit!  I have been looking forward to this day since August when I was selected to represent my country.

It is still hard for me to believe that I'm actually participating in the State of the World Forum. But it's started and I'm here! I am determined to do whatever I can to make this experience one of the greatest of my life.

There are thirty-five youth delegates from all over the world (twenty-nine countries). Everybody is unbelievably friendly and wonderful!!! We have already become friends and I feel very comfortable talking with them.

Even though we have a lot to do and a really busy schedule, I am confident we can do some great work and learn a lot from each other. Here's to learning!
