I arrived at the Youth Summit, I didn't know what to expect.  At first I was really excited about the famous people I'd meet and the problems we would discuss.

Now, everything is totally different. I don't know what is going on inside of me right now.  When I got here I felt such a warm atmosphere - love and understanding from the other youth. I never expected that! There are people here from all over the world and I can see that everybody cares about each other.  We are all trying really hard to respect each other's countries, languages, and cultures.

Last night, we were sitting on the beach with a bonfire right next to, almost under, the Golden Gate bridge. We were singing, talking and sharing experiences. I just wanted to cry!

I'm here!  Really far from my country and the people I'm close to at home, but here I feel the love that I usually get from my family.  I'm far away, but I'm home.
